Air Conditioning.
One of the most important things to know before you rent a vintage vehicle for your special event is that air conditioning in an automobile wasn’t available when our vehicles were made. We like to quip that “Our cars have 440 air. Four windows down at 40 miles per hour.”
That’s not to say that our vintage autos are hot. In fact, just the opposite. Most clients are pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the temperatures are, due predominantly to the construction of the roof and its many layers of insulation. (Raw cotton, burlap, chicken wire, wood, vinyl and wool.)
Not only can you count on being quite cool in our cars, you can depend on them to run like they did when they first rolled off the line. We restore them to mint condition, and have a rigorous preparation policy to make them brand new for you, ready to run another 70 years.
Maintenance.
Not only can you count on being quite cool in our cars, you can depend on them to run like they did when they first rolled off the line. Every Monday morning, we go over each car with a fine-tooth comb. We check out every mechanical system, and polish every surface, basically spending the week making these beauties brand new for you.
